Brad Spencer became the Vice President of Mission Critical Environments at TELUS Communications in January 2016. Prior to that he was the Director, National Network Integrity since December 2009 and was responsible for TELUS’ tier 3 operational support of TELUS’ national core networks including Voice, Data and Mobility.

Prior, Spencer was Director, National Planning & Engineering, a position he assumed in 2004 after 15 years within the Planning and Engineering department at TELUS. Brad joined TELUS after earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan in 1989 and has continued his education with leadership programs from Queens University, Banff School of Management and most recently University of Southern California.

Brad’s personal interests are: leading the Graduate Engineering Program at TELUS and being an active and proficient private pilot of his single engine airplane which fits well into his enjoyment of traveling with his wife and daughter.
