Dr. Arnab Roy is a Research Manager at Fujitsu Laboratories of America and serves as a Co-Chair of the NIST Big Data Security and Privacy Subgroup. Arnab obtained his PhD in Computer Science from Stanford University, where he was a Siebel Scholar. He completed undergraduate studies from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, where he was awarded the Prime Minister of India Gold Medal for academic excellence. His primary research interest is in the construction and formal analysis of cryptographic protocols and primitives. He has published several papers in this field, received the Best Paper Award at Asiacrypt 2013, and served on the Program Committees of several academic conferences.
